Payroll Tax Payment System - New Requirement as of January 1, 2011 The IRS is making changes to its depositing requirements. Effective January 1, 2011, you will no longer be able to make deposits at your bank using the coupon form 8109 (found in the yellow coupon book). They will need to be made electronically through EFTPS (Electronic Federal Tax Payment System). We can assist you in setting up your account with EFTPS and making the payments for you or provide instructions for you to make the payments. Additional information necessary to set up your account are your bank routing number, account number, type of account (checking or savings,) and contact information. We currently use this system for many of our clients and have found it very efficient and safe.  If you have any questions, please contact us.
